Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri expresses grief on the death of Shahid Rashid

MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the death of renowned journalist, intellectual and secretary of Nazria-e-Pakistan Trust Shahid Rashid. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and give courage and patience to the bereaved family to bear this great loss.

In his condolence message, Dr Qadri appreciated the journalistic and national services of late Shahid Rashid and said that he was a dignified, patriotic, and principled person. He said that the services rendered by Shahid Rashid in promoting Pakistan's ideology and highlighting the work of those who took part in the freedom struggle are appreciable. He said that late Shahid Rashid was an a ideological person and greatly loved Pakistan.

Meanwhile Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, GM Malik, Noorullah Siddiqui, Shahzad Rasool, Haji Muhammad Ishaq and others also expressed their profound grief at the death of Shahid Rashid. They prayed for the peace of the departed soul.
