MQI delegation attends Dua ceremony for late Shahid Rasheed

A Dua ceremony and Quran khawani was held at Aiwan-e-Quaid-i-Azam, Johar Town, Lahore, for the departed soul of Shahid Rasheed, secretary of Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust. A MQI delegation consisting of Director Public Relations Shahzad Rasool, Director Admin Jawwad Hamid, Haji Muhammad Ishaq, and Abid Bashir attended the ceremony.

Senior journalists Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Shami, Salman Ghani, former PCB Chairman Khalid Mahmood, Ahmad Kassana, office-holders of Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust and Tehreek Pakistan Workers Trust as well as people belonging to various walks of life joined the Dua ceremony.

The MQI leaders conveyed Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri's condolence message to the son of late Shahid Rasheed. Speaking on the occasion, Shahzad Rasool said that Shahid Rasheed was a very humble and sociable person. He was a true Pakistan who loved Islam and Pakistan from the core of his heart. He said that Shahid Rasheed promoted the Pakistan ideology through his speech and writings. He said that the deceased will always remain alive in the hearts of the people due to his thoughts and ideology.

The ceremony came to an end with Dua for the departed soul.
