Sayyida Khadija al-Kubra (R.A) was the first to endorse the prophethood: Dr Farah Naz

Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League organized Sayyida Khadija al-Kubra (R.A) Conference on the occasion of the death anniversary of the mother of believers, Hazrat Sayyida Khadija al-Kubra (R.A). A large number of women including central, provincial, and district leaders attended the conference.

Speaking on the occasion, central MWL president Dr Farh Naz said that Sayyida Khadija al-Kubra’s (R.A) life is a model for Muslims women to follow. She is a great personality who entered the fold of Islam among the women and endorsed the prophethood first of all. She said that Sayyida Khadija al-Kubra (R.A) was given the title of "Tahira" due to the nobility of her character and excellence of her conduct. She said that help for the poor and generosity were the defining qualities of her personality.

Dr Farah Naz said that Sayyida Khadija al-Kubra (R.A) enjoyed a privileged position in the company of the Holy Prophet (pbuh). A great personality such as Hazrat Fatima (RA), the head of women in paradise, was born to her.

Central Nazima MWL Ms. Sidra Karamat said in her speech that as long as Sayyida Khadija al-Kubra (R.A) was alive, the Holy Prophet (pbuh) did not marry anyone else. She (RA) had immense love for the Prophet of Islam (pbuh). She said that the habits and conduct of Sayyida Khadija al-Kubra (R.A) are a beacon of life for women of every age, adding that those who model their lives in accordance with the teachings of such revered personalities as Sayyida Khadija al-Kubra (R.A) will live a life of peace, contentment and happiness.

The conference was attended by Anila Ilyas, Umme Habiba Ismail, Rafia Urooj, Irshad Iqbal, Noreen Alvi, Fahneeqa Nadeem and others.
