Arrangements completed for collective sacrifice under MWF

The arrangements for Qurbani 2022 have been completed. MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Director Administration Jawwad Hamid and Hafiz Khurram Shahzad visited the place and inspected the arrangements.

Speaking on the occasion, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has provided a platform to overseas Pakistan living around the world in the form of collective sacrifice done at Lahore each year under the banner of Minhaj Welfare Foundation. He said that MWF has been rendering amazing service for the past three decades. He said that the collective sacrifice on Eid-ul-Adha is being carried out in Lebanon, Africa and Bangladesh and the meat of the slaughtered animals is sent to the poor and needy in a timely manner. He said that the arrangements of sacrifice have been at 300 locations in Pakistan including Lahore. He said that Qurbani is a beautiful reflection of equality, brotherhood and Islamic civilization and culture.

Hafiz Khurram Shahzad briefed MQI Secretary General and Jawwad Hamid about the arrangements made for the care and protection of the animals purchased for Qurbani. He said that a modern slaughter house has been deployed and hundreds of volunteers of MWF will work during three days of Eid to deliver the meat to the poor households.

Director Administration MQI Jawwad Hamid said that hundreds of thousands of people repose their trust in MWF for the performance of Qurbani. He said that we leave no stone unturned to come up to their expectations. He said that people’s confidence is an asset for us.
