The religious seminaries are the fortress of Islam and the protector as well as inheritor of the scholarly legacy of Suffa, a sheltered raised platform set up by the Holy Prophet (PBUH). There is no denying the importance and inevitability of the role of Madaris nor can this intellectual and scholarly role be minimized.
