200 students graduate from Tahfiz-al-Quran Institute

Minhaj Institute for Qirat and Tehfiz-ul-Quran arranged a ceremony at Aagosh Complex for the distribution of degrees among the students who completed the memorization of the Holy Quran from 2019 to 2022. President MQI and Chairman Aagosh Complex Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presided over the ceremony. A large number of people including parents, teachers, scholars and Director General Khan-e-Farhang Iran attended the ceremony.

Allama Muhammad Abbas Naqashbandi, the principal of Tehfeez-ul-Quran International, welcomed all the honourable guests and told the audience that the children are not only taught how to read the Holy Quran but also to understand it and act upon its teachings. He said that the teachers of Tehf9z-ul-Quran focus on teaching the technical skills of the recitation to the children. The children of Tahfiz-al-Quran created a spiritual atmosphere by reciting the Names of Allah Almighty and Durood Sharif in their melodious voices. The certificates and shields were given to the parents of children who memorized the Holy Quran in pairs.

Congratulating the children and the parents on the milestone, Prof Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that these children deserve to be lauded, for they saved the Holy Quran in their hearts. He also congratulated the teachers of Tahfiz-al-Quran on preparing excellent students and doing the amazing duty of making them learn the Holy Quran by heart. He said that Tahfiz-al-Quran Institute has rendered great service to the communities by producing qualified Huffaz in their hundreds.

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the Holy Quran is a book of guidance that will continue to benefit humanity till the Day of Judgment. He said that every segment and society can derive guidance from the Divine Book to reorient themselves. He said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri founded Tehfiz-ul-Quran in 1994, adding that the vision behind establishing the Institute was to produce qualified Huffaz who not only understand the Quranic teachings but also play a constructive role in society. He said that these students blessed themselves with the learning of the Holy Quran by heart and also continued with their education. He said that these students after graduation are contributing to the development of society. He said that moral training is an essential component of the educational system that focuses on character building. He said that MQI and its institutions are a blessing of Allah that are busy in serving Islam to the best of their ability.

In his speech, Agha Jaffar Ronas congratulated the children on completing the learning of the Holy Quran by heart and said that the services of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for the promotion of knowledge and Quranic sciences are praiseworthy.
