Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri grieved over the passing of Dr Zahoor Ahmad Azhar

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the passing of Dr Zahoor Ahmad Azhar, former COSIS Principal and the renowned scholar of Arabic language and literature.

In his condolence message, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri paid rich tribute to the scholarly services of Dr Zahoor Ahmad Azhar. He said that in his death, the country has been deprived of an excellent teacher and scholar who had dedicated his life to the promotion of the Islamic sciences and Arabic language. He said that the scholarly services of late Dr Zahoor will be remembered for a long time to come. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and grant patience to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.

Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Dr Mumtaz-ul-Hassan Barvi, Prof Nawaz Zafar and other office-holders of MQI also expressed their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family on the death of Dr Zahoor Ahmad Azhar.
