Farid-i-Millat scholarship awards distributed among talented students

“Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is Sir Syed of our times”: Speakers at MES event

Under the auspices of the Minhaj Education Society, the Farid-i-Millat Scholarship Awards were given to 920 talented students, both male and female, with scholarships worth millions of rupees.

Speaking at the ceremony, special guest Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri stated that under the vision of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, numerous scholarships are being awarded to hundreds of talented students. He emphasized that our commitment is to defeating poverty and ignorance through education and to making Pakistan a great nation.

The ceremony was attended by notable figures including President Lahore High Court Bar Asad Manzoor Butt Advocate, renowned educationist and CEO Children Library Complex Lahore Dr. Ahmad Khawar Shahzad, along with important academic, political, social, and religious personalities.

Director of Minhaj Education Society, Shoaib Tahir, highlighted the educational endeavors of the Minhaj Education Society in his welcoming remarks, stating that the schools affiliated with the MES are spreading knowledge in remote areas. Hundreds of teachers, students, and parents from schools associated with Minhaj Education Society participated in the ceremony.

Addressing the gathering, President Lahore High Court Bar Asad Manzoor Butt remarked that the lawyer community recognizes the practical services of Minhaj-ul-Quran and Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri in promoting higher education and research. He added that there is no doubt that education is the key to progress.

Speaking at the event, educationist Dr. Ahmad Khawar Shahzad said that Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri is a leader of this era. He said that this exemplary method of assisting deserving students is magnificent and worth emulating.

The parents of scholarship recipients prayed for the long life of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri and Minhaj-ul-Quran, stating that due to Minhaj-ul-Quran, the dream of quality education for their children is becoming a reality.
