Lectures on Irfan-ul-Quran start across the country
Under the auspices of the MQI’s Directorate of Dawah, a series of lectures on Irfan-ul-Quran commenced during the sacred hours of Ramadan across more than 60 cities in Pakistan, including Lahore. Scholars from the Minhaj Ulama Council and Directorate of Dawah are delivering these classes after the Fajr prayers at numerous locations. These Quranic enlightenment sessions, aimed at enlightening hearts and minds, are witnessing participation from men, women, children, and the elderly in large numbers.
In addition to Lahore, similar initiatives are taking place in major cities such as Gujranwala, Gujarat, Narowal, Shakargarh, Hasilpur, Mian Chunnu, Lodhran, Lalamusa, Pindi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Dera Ghazi Khan, Abbottabad, Multan, Bhakkar, Faisalabad, Hyderabad, Karachi, Muzaffarabad, and Gilgit-Baltistan. These sessions cover various crucial topics such as belief in the finality of prophethood, unity, our religion, and our responsibilities, anger, depression, and its remedies, Ramadan and beliefs about the afterlife, the status of women in Islam, the greatness of the Quran, fundamental requirements for success, and other important subjects.
Esteemed scholars including Rana Muhammad Idris, Allama Fiaz Bashir Qadri, Sahibzada Allama Zaheer Naqshbandi, Rana Nafees Hussain Qadri, Allama Ghulam Murtaza Alvi, Allama Muhammad Mehtab Azhar, Allama Minhaj-ud-Din Qadri, Allama Sarfraz Ahmed Qadri, Allama Mahmood Masood Qadri, Allama Sabir Kamal Wattoo, Allama Ghulam Shabir Jami, Dr. Allama Arshad Mahmood Mustafavi, Allama Jameel Ahmed Zahid Qadri, Allama Suleiman Azam, and Allama Sanaullah Rabbani are addressing the attendees in these Quranic enlightenment sessions.
In Lahore, Model Town, Moghalpura, Samanabad, Thokar Niaz Baig, Town Ship, Chung Amr Siddhu, Sabzazar, Daroghawala, Shadbagh, Jalalpur, Suntaragarh, Shahdara, Raiwind, and other locations are witnessing these classes conducted by scholars associated with the Tehreek Minhaj-ul-Quran.
On the 2nd of Ramadan, Allama Suleiman Azam will lecture on "Why is the youth drifting away from religion?", Allama Jameel Ahmed Zahid Qadri on "The status and role of women in Islam", Dr. Allama Arshad Mahmood Mustafawi on "Anger, depression, and its remedies", and Dr. Allama Ghulam Shabir Jami on "Belief in the finality of prophethood". These lectures will be held during the Quranic study sessions.
Moreover, in Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam Model Town Lahore, Taraweeh prayers at 8:15 PM will be led by Qari Khalid Hameed Kazmi Al-Azhari and Qari Abdul Samad Sattar, while in Jamia Minhaj Town Ship, Qari Abdul Khaliq and Qari Anamullah Naeemi will lead the prayers at 8:00 PM.
