dr hassan qadri friday sermon

Addressing the Friday congregation at Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam in Model Town Lahore, the Chairman of the Supreme Council, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, said that Allah tests His servants by granting them hunger, fear, difficulties, and pains, and only those who express gratitude and remain obedient in all circumstances emerge successful and victorious.

He stated that our lives have become devoid of the virtues of patience, gratitude, and contentment, and it is for this reason that we remain distressed and despondent. He emphasized that qualities of frugality, patience, and gratitude bring a person closer to Allah. The entire life of a Muslim is characterized by patience and gratitude.

“Gratitude is the foundation of ethics, actions, and worship. Ramadan is the month of patience, gratitude, abstinence, piety, and humility,” he added.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri asked the people to remain content with the blessings bestowed upon them by Allah, utilizing all their energies to reform evils and spread goodness. He said that the people should learn to empathize with the hunger of others and make themselves servants of society.

The Chairman MQI said that Islam has designated service to humanity as the best ethics and a great form of worship. He said that those who selflessly serve humanity are extremely fortunate, as they become the cause of happiness and ease by embracing the sorrows, pains, and difficulties of others.

President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Sahibzada Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Al-Madani Al-Qadri, and Brigadier (rtd.) Iqbal Ahmad Khan and a large number of people from different walks of life offered Friday prayers.
