The Holy Quran is the right path as well as the desired destination: Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

MQI founding-leader and patron-in-chief, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri addressed thousands of male and female participants in Itikaf City on the occasion of Laylatul Qadr, and emphasized the importance of sincere repentance to Allah. He stated that the Holy Quran was revealed during this night, the Quran which is the manifesto and guide for humanity.

He said that the best life is one that is spent in the state of faith for the sake of Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him). He mentioned that complete guidance for spiritual and material life is present in the Holy Quran; holding onto the Quran is the straight path and the desired destination.

In his final address on the subject of the Quran and modern science, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed his thoughts, saying that Islam has never denied science; rather, Islam's first knowledge is based on observation and research. Science has provided thousands of pieces of evidences for the existence of God. He said that scientists admit that the universe is designed by a mathematician who created this universe with perfect order and continues to run it. Scientists also acknowledge the uniqueness and unity of God. They say that the moon, sun, stars, planets, galaxies, with their designated paths and orbits, are all part of a meticulous design, and not even a single millimeter deviates from its path.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the day when justice will be established will be the day of the end of the world and the Day of Judgment; Allah, the Lord of Honor, has revealed everything about the end of the world. He said that young people should not consider the Holy Quran merely as a divine book of reward; it is also the source and origin of science and modern knowledge.
