Families of Model Town’s martyrs meet Shaykh Hammad Mustafa

An iftar dinner was organized in the Itikaf City in Lahore on April 6, 2024 in the honor of the family members of the martyrs of the Model Town incident. As is done every year, special Eid gifts were distributed among the children and relatives of the martyrs on behalf of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir al-Qadri.

Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Al-Madani Al-Qadri, the grandson of Shaykh-ul-Islam, also held a special meeting with the families of the martyrs and praised their spirit of sacrifice and perseverance. He stated that this incident is a heart-wrenching tragedy, and Shaykh ul-Islam has always shown compassion towards the families of his martyred workers and never left them alone. He said that by the grace of Allah, this relationship of sacrifice and loyalty will always remain intact.

MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Noorullah Siddiqui and Secretary Coordination Tayyab Zia distributed the gifts and Eid allowances sent by Shaykh-ul-Islam among the families of the martyrs.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur individually met with the relatives and inquired about their well-being. Speaking on the occasion, he said that even after nine years, justice has not been served, but we are continuing our legal efforts to seek justice. While we may not have the pen of justice in our hands, it is within our power to maintain contact with the heirs of the martyrs and to share in their sorrows, pains, and joys. We consider it our duty to fulfill this obligation, and we will continue to do so as long as we have breath in our bodies.
