MQI delegation calls on Director General PILAC
A delegation led by Shehzad Rasool Chaudhry, Director of Public Relations of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, met with Benish Fatima Sahi, Director General of the Punjab Institute of Language, Art, and Culture (PILAC), at her office. Dr. Khakan Haider Ghazi, Director of PILAC, was also present on this occasion.
The delegation included Haji Muhammad Ishaq and Abdul Hafeez Chaudhry. The leaders of MQI presented DG PILAC with the writings of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and the renowned book "Dastoor Madina aur Falah-e-Riyasat ka Tasavvur" authored by Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International.
The delegation also invited Benish Fatima Sahi to visit the Minhaj-ul-Quran Secretariat and Minhaj University Lahore, which she accepted, promising to visit soon. The delegation briefed DG PILAC in detail about the educational and welfare projects of MQI.
In his talk on the occasion, Shehzad Rasool Chaudhry stated that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is educating the younger generation on knowledge and peace. Benish Fatima Sahi appreciated the scholarly and research contributions of Minhaj-ul-Quran and Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. She mentioned that PILAC is playing its role in promoting Punjabi literature by supporting writers, poets, novelists, and Punjabi culture.
“PILAC provides a platform for poets and writers to promote Punjabi culture. Punjabi art and culture are recognized worldwide for their unique identity,” she said.
