Arrangements underway for Qurbani campaign 2024

A meeting of Minhaj Welfare Foundation was held at the central secretariat in Model Town to review the preparations and arrangements for the Qurbani Campaign 2024. The meeting was attended by the Vice President of Minhaj-ul-Quran, Brigadier (R) Iqbal Ahmed Khan, country head of Minhaj Welfare Foundation, Brigadier (R) Umar Hayat, Director of Operations MWF, Engineer Sanaullah Khan, Deputy Secretary-General Jawwad Hamid, and other leaders.

During the briefing on the Qurbani Campaign, Director of Operations Engineer Sanaullah Khan mentioned that on Eid al-Adha, Minhaj Welfare Foundation will conduct thousands of sacrificial (Fi Sabilillah) slaughters across Lahore and the entire country. The meat will be distributed among the needy and deserving individuals. Collective Qurbani centers are being established in all major cities of the country under the auspices of Minhaj Welfare Foundation. The administrative committees formed for the Qurbani Campaign 2024 have commenced its work, and the procurement of sacrificial animals is ongoing.

All arrangements are swiftly being completed to hygienically preserve the Qurbani meat and ensure its delivery to stakeholders and deserving individuals. Hundreds of volunteers from Minhaj Welfare Foundation will participate in the meat distribution and ensure that it reaches the homes of the needy.

Engineer Sanaullah Khan emphasized the importance of including those who cannot afford to sacrifice in the joys of Eid. He announced that under the auspices of Minhaj Welfare Foundation, hundreds of animals will be slaughtered on Eid al-Adha for Qurbani, and thousands of deserving families will receive the meat.

He further detailed that all stages from slaughtering to meat processing will be carried out using modern machines in slaughterhouses. The Qurbani meat will be distributed in airtight thermopile boxes with dry ice. Chillers will also be arranged to deliver the meat to remote areas.
