Khurram Nawaz Gandapur congratulates MWF on successful collective sacrifice campaign
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, the Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, has congratulated all the administrators and volunteers of Minhaj Welfare Foundation for their excellent arrangements and for delivering sacrificial meat to thousands of families and millions of individuals during the three days of Eid-ul-Adha. He stated that the essence of sacrifice is to share the joy of Eid-ul-Adha with the underprivileged.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur mentioned that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has provided an excellent platform for Muslims around the world to fulfill the obligation of sacrifice through Minhaj Welfare Foundation, which has been serving the people for 33 years. Under the auspices of Minhaj Welfare Foundation, collective sacrifices were offered in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Somalia, Africa, Rohingya, and Palestine, and the meat was distributed to millions of deserving individuals.
MQI Secretary General said that in Pakistan, collective sacrifices were carried out at hundreds of locations, including Lahore. He emphasized that sacrifice is a grand manifestation of Islamic culture, civilization, brotherhood, and equality. This year, from using modern slaughterhouse services to delivering sacrificial meat in thermocol boxes with dry ice to the needy in a timely manner, hundreds of volunteers performed commendable services over the three days of Eid-ul-Adha.
He noted that Minhaj Welfare Foundation volunteers went door-to-door in underprivileged areas to deliver the sacrificial meat.
He said that people around the world express their unwavering trust in Minhaj Welfare Foundation to fulfill the obligation of sacrifice, and the entire team of Minhaj Welfare Foundation utilized all their capabilities to live up to this trust and carry out this obligation.
