MQI Lahore chapter takes important decisions in a zonal meeting

The zonal organization meeting of Minhaj-ul-Quran International was held under the chairmanship of Professor Zulfiqar Ali, President of Lahore chapter. Deputy Secretary General of MQI, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, made a special appearance at the meeting.

The zonal officials of the Lahore chapter attended the meeting. The schedule for the Imam Hussain (RA) Conferences to be organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore during Muharram was finalized. The organizational performance of Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore was reviewed, and detailed consultations on future goals were held. It was agreed to further accelerate the organizational activities.

A decision was also made to expand the Halqaat-e-Darood and the Duroos-e-Irfan-ul-Quran (Quranic understanding sessions). Zonal Coordinator of Minhaj Welfare Foundation Lahore, Captain (R) Abdul Majeed, briefed on the ongoing welfare projects in Lahore, including the Mobile Medical Unit.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Secretary General Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees said that Muharram-ul-Haram teaches sacrifice, unity of the Ummah, mutual tolerance, and peaceful coexistence. The history of great sacrifices for Islam, from Medina to the field of Karbala, is associated with this blessed month. Allah has declared the month of Muharram as a month of honor, respect, and excellence. He emphasized the need to follow Islamic teachings, stand firm on truth and righteousness, and implement the Quran and Sunnah in practical life.

President of Lahore, Professor Zulfiqar Ali, while speaking to the Lahore officials, said that the public contact campaign and organizational efforts should be intensified. Duroos-e-Irfan-ul-Quran and Halqaat-e-Darood should be initiated in all areas of Lahore.

The meeting was attended by Senior Vice President of Lahore, Dr. Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, Amjad Hussain Chaudhry, Haji Muhammad Amjad Qadri, Captain (R) Abdul Majeed, Haji Muhammad Hanif Qadri, Muhammad Afzal Bhatti, Muhammad Rehan Chaudhry, Nazim Ali Awan, Allama Shahid Iqbal Yousufi, Allama Ghulam Shabbir Jami, Miraj Khalid Qadri, and Muhammad Ramzan Ayoubi.
