Understanding of the Quran binding on every Muslim: Allama Mahmood Masood
On the third day of the ten-day "Diploma in Quran Studies" course organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran International's Directorate of Educational and Professional Development, a large number of senior lawyers, both men and women, participated.
Central Coordinator Allama Mahmood Masood, while delivering a lecture, said that Allah Almighty has revealed the Holy Quran for the guidance of all mankind. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The best among you are those who learn the Quran and teach it to others." He emphasized that reading, understanding, acting upon the teachings of the Quran, and conveying its teachings to others is so essential that without it, no person can live a successful life in this world or in the hereafter. Therefore, understanding and gaining knowledge of the Quran is necessary for every Muslim.
Allama Mahmood Masood further stated that programs like the Diploma in Quran Studies are crucial for the youth today. In the current era, which is marked by misguidance, lack of knowledge, moral decline, and degradation from every direction, it is extremely important to kindle the light of the Quran and Quranic knowledge. He said Minhaj-ul-Quran is fulfilling this duty through its Directorate of Education and Professional Development. The Diploma in Quran Studies course includes subjects such as Tajweed, Arabic grammar, Quranic translation, Tafseer, the art of oration and hosting, and personality development.
On the third day of the ongoing ten-day Diploma in Quran Studies in Abbottabad, a large number of lawyers participated. Expressing their great joy and happiness, the lawyer leaders said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri is not only providing academic, practical, moral, spiritual, economic, doctrinal, familial, social, and intellectual training to the entire Muslim Ummah but also to all of humanity. The Diploma in Quran Studies programs is a part of this effort, and they are indeed life-changing programs.
