One Must Listen to Differences of Opinion with Patience: Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, addressed a gathering at Jamia Haidariya Ghousia, Islamabad, during the Husn-e-Qiraat (Quran Recitation) ceremony. He stated that to become a scholar of the Quran, one must develop a broad mind and heart. Where narrow-mindedness prevails, the light of knowledge cannot reach. He emphasized that differences of opinion should be listened to with patience, as this behavior fosters feelings of respect.
At the end of the ceremony, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri honored the students who had memorized the Quran by bestowing them with turbans of excellence and congratulated their teachers and parents. He said that the Quran is the Word of Allah and a guiding light. The Quran contains solutions to the problems and crises until the Day of Judgment, which is why it emphasizes the teachings of moderation, tolerance, kindness, patience, open-heartedness, and maintaining good relations, he added.
The event was attended by Hazrat Khawaja Peer Badr Alam Jan, the Sajjada Nashin of Dargah Aliya Murshidabad Sharif Peshawar, Allama Mufti Imdadullah Qadri, Allama Dr. Mir Asif Akbar Qadri, Chaudhry Muhammad Yaseen, Hafeez Awan, Sahibzada Nafees-ul-Qadri, Syed Basheer Hussain Shah, Anar Khan Gondal, Abrar Raza Advocate, Allama Ihsan Qadir Naeemi, Qari Gulzar Naeemi, along with a large number of students, teachers, staff members, and devotees of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) from Jamia Haidariya Ghousia and Jamia Masjid Haidari Rizvi.
