Mardan: Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri addresses Rahmat-ul-lil-Alameen Conference
In attendance were Allama Mufti Sahibzada Fazal Rabbani, Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Deputy Secretary General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chaudhry Irfan Yousaf, Director Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Subhanullah Khan (President of PAT Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), President of Mardan Professor Bakht, Mardan Coordinator Dr. Awais-ud-Din, Organizer Muhammad Amin, Moinuddin, Muhammad Junaidullah, Sardar Owais Gujjar, Dr. Imran Younis, and Irshad Iqbal, along with a large gathering of scholars, religious leaders, and devotees of the Prophet (peace be upon him), including both men and women.
In his address, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said, "There is not a single word, not even a dot, in the Holy Quran that is devoid of wisdom and purpose. When commentators of the Quran study it, they find interpretations in it; scholars of hadith and jurists discover legal rulings; when reformers recite it, they reveal its renewing aspects; scientists uncover its scientific insights; philosophers find logic; and mystics find divine love and the love for the Prophet in every verse. The miracle of the Quran is that it satisfies every level of knowledge and taste."
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri added, "Similarly, Allah has made His beloved Prophet a model of mercy, compassion, and perfection. The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) is the epitome of all virtues and desires to see his followers embody the same. To truly love and be devoted to the Prophet requires adopting his ethics and becoming like him in both our inner and outer character."
Dr. Hassan further emphasized the Prophet's (PBUH) qualities of forgiveness, patience, piety, and generosity. He said, "Even after being stoned in the valley of Ta'if, the Prophet prayed for the people. Had he wished, those who harmed him could have been wiped off the face of the earth, but he told the angels that his message was one of life, not destruction. He believed that if not them, their descendants would accept faith. The Prophet's vision was not limited to the present; he foresaw the rise and perfection of Islam."
Chairman Supreme Council continued by highlighting how, despite being wounded in the Battle of Uhud, the Prophet never raised his hands to curse anyone. Instead, he helped others, fulfilled their needs, distributed war spoils, fed the hungry, and always wished for the well-being of others.
Dr. Hassan urged, "If the followers of the Prophet (PBUH) want success in this world and the hereafter, they must adopt the qualities, habits, and manners of the generous Prophet. Minhaj-ul-Quran presents the model of the Prophet's (PBUH) life before you. By practicing it, showing forbearance, piety, peace, understanding, tolerance, and forgiveness, we can transform our surroundings and society into a haven of peace and security. Replace hatred with love, be forgiving, and take the initiative in helping others. This is the true practical expression of love for Islam and the Prophet of Islam (PBUH).
