Director Aghosh Complex Col. (R) Mubashir Iqbal welcomed Zeba Batool on her arrival.
Ms. Zeba Batool, Pakistan's first female mountaineer, visited the Aghosh Orphan Care Home, a subsidiary institution of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, and spent time with the children there. Colonel (R) Mubashir Iqbal, Director of Aghosh Complex, welcomed Ms. Zeba Batool and gave her a detailed briefing about the Complex.
During her visit, Ms. Zeba Batool thoroughly examined the facilities at Aghosh and highly praised the institution's services, calling it an excellent sanctuary for children facing life’s challenges. She remarked that institutions like Aghosh reflect our social responsibilities in the best possible way.
Paying tribute to Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for establishing Aghosh, Ms. Zeba Batool said, “Through this institution, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri has provided orphaned children with the support they need most. The efforts of Aghosh Orphan Care Home and its staff are highly commendable, as they work tirelessly to provide these children with a bright future. This institution is a beacon of hope for children who have suffered life’s hardships.”
She added, “Visiting Aghosh Orphan Care Home brought peace to my heart. People like you are the backbone of these children, and you are the true heroes of humanity.”
During her tour, Ms. Zeba Batool inspected various sections of Aghosh, including the education section, residential rooms, and dining arrangements. She noted that the facilities provided to the children are of international standards.
On this occasion, Colonel (R) Mubashir Iqbal stated, “At Aghosh, we offer activities and training to develop the personalities of children and prepare them to become productive members of society. Our goal is to create an environment where children can grow with love, security, and confidence."
