Denmark: Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri Visits Embassy of Egypt to Strengthen Academic and Diplomatic Ties
Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri was specially invited to the Embassy of Egypt in Copenhagen, where he was warmly received by the Ambassador of Egypt, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Karim Fouad Sherif, and the Deputy Ambassador, Mr. Ahmed Abdullah.
He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Daiem Al Jundi, Secretary General of The Islamic Research Institute at Al Azhar University, Dr. Hafiz Muhammad Idrees Al-Azhari, Qaisar Najeeb, Hafiz Sajjad Ahmed, Shahnawaz Uppal, and Faisal Najeeb.
During the meeting, the Ambassador of Egypt, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Karim Fouad Sherif, expressed his deep appreciation for the immense contributions of Shaykh-ul-Islam and Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI). He acknowledged the extraordinary academic and scholarly work of Shaykh-ul-Islam, providing invaluable guidance in Islamic knowledge for generations to come.
Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri expounded on the extensive global network of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, and how it is transforming lives through education, and welfare initiatives. He continued to elaborate on MQI’s role in combating extremism and radicalism by clarifying misconceptions about Islam.
Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri highlighted the strong and longstanding relationship between Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Al-Azhar University. He emphasized how both institutions share a vision of spreading authentic Islamic teachings rooted in peace, tolerance, and moderation.
Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri also presented and gifted the Ambassador with a signed copy of the Constitution of Medina along with the many other literary works of Shaykh ul Islam.
The Ambassador of Egypt, Mr. Mohamed Karim Fouad Sherif, was greatly impressed by the unparalleled work being done by Shaykh-ul-Islam. He commended the vast range of fields in which Minhaj-ul-Quran is actively making a difference and acknowledged its critical role in promoting peace and harmony worldwide.
This meeting marked another milestone in strengthening ties between Minhaj-ul-Quran International and international institutions, fostering deeper academic and diplomatic collaborations to promote peace, unity and integration.
