Copenhagen: Minhaj-ul-Quran International Denmark Hosts Workers Convention 2025

Copenhagen: Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) Denmark organized the Workers Convention 2025 at the NV Center, bringing together a large number of organizational representatives, workers, and officials. The event served as a platform for spiritual growth, training, and renewed commitment to the mission.

Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, attended as the chief guest.

The convention commenced with a soul-stirring recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Wilayat Khan, Husnain Mustafa, and Haseeb Yousaf, setting a deeply spiritual tone. Renowned Naat reciters, including Raja Muhammad Akbar, Muhammad Owais Mirza, Usman Zahoor Ahmad, Allama Abrar Zafar, and Moazzam Butt, presented praises of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Allama Owais Iqbal Qadri, Director of Dawah & Training in Sweden, paid a heartfelt tribute to Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on his birthday, acknowledging his invaluable contributions to Islam. His poetic expressions resonated deeply with the audience, reinforcing their spiritual connection.

Hafiz Sajjad Ahmad, Senior Vice President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Denmark, and Shah Nawaz Uppal, General Secretary, warmly welcomed the attendees and expressed their gratitude for their dedication. They emphasized that the progress of MQI is the result of its workers’ unwavering commitment and urged them to continue serving Islam with sincerity and devotion.

In his keynote address, Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri highlighted the significance of intellectual and spiritual development in light of the Quran and Sunnah. He emphasized that true believers remain steadfast in their pursuit of righteousness, drawing inspiration from the Companions of the Cave Ashab-e-Kahf)—a symbol of unwavering faith and divine protection.

He further elaborated on the essence of sacrifice and selflessness, citing Hazrat Mus’ab bin Umair (RA) as an example of how love for Allah and His Messenger (PBUH) transforms a believer’s life. He encouraged MQI workers to embody these values, demonstrating resilience and sincerity in their mission.

Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri also referenced a hadith of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)

“Islam began as something unfamiliar and will remain so, but those who stand firm in difficult times will be truly successful.”

He reminded the audience that serving Islam comes with challenges, but sincerity and perseverance guarantee ultimate success.

As the event concluded, Dr. Hassan Mohiuddin Qadri congratulated MQI Denmark’s forums and workers for their dedication.
