Address at Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) Conference in Germany, Attended by Scholars and Prominent Figures of the Pakistani Community
Chairman of the Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, addressed the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH) Conference held at the Central Jamia Mosque Aqsa in Koblenz, Germany. The topic of his address was the Charter of Medina and the Concept of a Welfare State.
He stated that the Charter of Medina is the first written constitution in human history, fulfilling all the fundamental conditions of an ideal governance system. He said that the Charter of Medina provides guiding principles regarding human rights, freedom of expression, justice and equality, protection of life and property, and the establishment of international relations. Due to a lack of awareness of Islamic history, Western constitutions are often regarded as the earliest constitutions, which is a misconception.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri emphasized that the Charter of Medina was a revolutionary social agreement between Muslims and other religious communities, presenting a welfare model that remains a practical and exemplary governance framework even today. Additionally, the Charter offers a strong political and economic model.
During the event, attendees expressed their views, highlighting that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, and Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri are shedding light on unique aspects of the Seerah of the Prophet (PBUH), which serve as the foundation for the revival of Islam. Scholars were urged to educate the younger generation about the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) contributions in economic, administrative, educational, and social reforms.
The conference was attended by President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Germany Mian Imran-ul-Haq, General Secretary Dr. Chun Naseeb, Faiz Alam Qadri, along with other central leaders of Minhaj-ul-Quran, distinguished personalities, and prominent figures from various professional fields.
