Serving Humanity is a Noble Deed in the Light of the Qur'an and Sunnah: Engineer Sanaullah Khan
Minhaj Welfare Foundation (Lahore chapter) organized an intellectual session on the topic “The Importance of Serving Humanity.” Addressing the session, Director Operations of MWF, Engineer Sanaullah Khan, said that Islam is a religion that emphasizes not only worship but also service to humanity. According to the Qur'an and Sunnah, serving humanity is considered a noble and virtuous act.
He said that service to humanity means working for the welfare, help, and ease of God's creation, regardless of their race, religion, or nationality. He praised all officeholders and volunteers of Minhaj Welfare Foundation for their tireless efforts in serving suffering humanity day and night.
Engineer Sanaullah Khan further stated that Minhaj-ul-Quran and Minhaj Welfare Foundation have always been at the forefront of welfare work. Their services span across the fields of education, healthcare, emergency relief, and orphan care throughout the country. The Foundation has provided relief to the public through free medical camps, clean water projects, and disaster relief activities, which continue in affected areas. The orphan care institution, Aghosh Orphan Care Home, under the Foundation, offers complete facilities to orphaned and helpless children and is a model project in itself.
Coordinator of Minhaj Welfare Foundation Lahore, Captain (R) Abdul Majeed, thanked the guests attending the session and briefed them about the Foundation’s mobile hospital initiative. He stated that serving humanity is a noble form of worship that leads to Allah’s pleasure, the love of His creation, and salvation in the Hereafter. He urged everyone to dedicate their time, wealth, and abilities to the welfare of humanity to build a better and more peaceful society.
