Lahore: Monthly Spiritual Gathering Organized by Gosha-e-Durood of Minhaj-ul-Quran

The monthly spiritual gathering of Khatm-us-Salat Ala an-Nabi ﷺ, organized by Gosha-e-Durood of Minhaj-ul-Quran, was held at the central secretariat in Model Town, Lahore.

The program began after the Isha prayer with the recitation of the Holy Qur’an, followed by the presentation of naats (praise poems for the Prophet ﷺ) by renowned Naat Khawans.

According to the system established by Gosha-e-Durood, a total of 9.813 billion salawat (blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ) were recited during the month of March. The cumulative total of Durood Sharif recited so far has reached 811.943 billion.

The spiritual gathering was attended by central MQI leaders, members of Gosha-e-Durood, central staff members, and leaders from the Lahore chapter of the organization.

The gathering concluded with the collective recitation of spiritual litanies (wazaif) from Gosha-e-Durood and the presentation of salutations and blessings (Durood o Salam) in the court of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Prayers were also offered for the progress and security of the Muslim Ummah and Pakistan and peace in the world.
