Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri Expresses Condolences on the Passing of Maulana Fazlur Rahim Ashrafi

The Founder and Patron-in-Chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the passing of the eminent religious scholar, patron-in-chief and former Rector of Jamia Ashrafia Lahore, Maulana Fazlur Rahim Ashrafi.

In his condolence message, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri stated that the entire life of the late scholar was devoted to education, learning, and the service of Islam. He said that with the demise of Maulana Fazlur Rahim Ashrafi, Pakistan has been deprived of a great visionary, sincere, and highly learned religious personality.

"His scholarly, religious, and educational services are unforgettable, and the void created by his passing will not be filled for a long time. His invaluable contributions will always be remembered with honor and respect," Dr. Qadri said.

Shaykh-ul-Islam prayed to Allah Almighty to elevate the ranks of the departed soul. He also expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, his students, and all the office-bearers of the institution, and prayed for patience and fortitude for them.
