A Graceful Wedding Ceremony at Aghosh Complex: Orphans Qasim and Aneesa Begin a New Journey

A dignified and memorable wedding ceremony was held at the Aghosh Orphan Care Home, a welfare project of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, where two Aghosh-raised individuals, Qasim Ali and Aneesa Kiran, were united in marriage. The event was attended by distinguished personalities from various walks of life.
Chairman of Aghosh Complex and President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, along with Fizza Hussain Qadri, graced the occasion with their presence. Director of Aghosh Complex, Colonel (R) Mubashir Iqbal, delivered the welcome address and presented a detailed briefing on the institution’s educational and تربیتی (training and development) system. He highlighted that hundreds of orphaned children at Aghosh receive not only quality education but also comprehensive support from Play Group to PhD level, making it a truly unique institution.
A presentation introducing the bride and groom was also showcased, which was warmly appreciated by the audience.
In his address, Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri remarked that Aghosh Orphan Care Home is joyfully sending off one of its sons and daughters into a new phase of life. He emphasized that the institution plays a remarkable role in nurturing orphaned children, providing them with education, character-building, and enabling them to become respectable members of society. He further stated that the ultimate purpose of human life is to seek the pleasure of Allah, which requires a balance of knowledge, sound belief, and righteous actions. He stressed that studying the life of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) leads to excellence in character and اخلاق (morality).
Highlighting the welfare services of Minhaj-ul-Quran, he added that the organization serves as a comprehensive platform for intellectual, spiritual, and social reform, actively contributing to public service, education, and community welfare. Aghosh Complex stands as a practical manifestation of this mission, where orphaned children are not only educated but are also supported through major life milestones such as marriage.
Senior journalist and analyst Orya Maqbool Jan stated that the educational and welfare institutions established by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri hold a unique position globally.
Renowned artist Hani Al-Bella congratulated the bride and groom, describing marriage as a great blessing bestowed upon fortunate individuals. He also expressed gratitude to Minhaj-ul-Quran for their continued invitations and shared a naat during the ceremony, captivating the audience.
