Minhaj Free Ambulance Service inaugurated in Gujrat
Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) has inaugurated free ambulance service in Gujrat. The inaugural ceremony featured Dr Shahid Mahmood, Director Minhaj Welfare Foundation as chief guest. After cutting the red ribbon, Dr Shahid Mahmood said MWF was providing free ambulance services in 24 cities of Pakistan. The service is available for a one phone call in order to cater to any kind of emergency. MWF had incurred an expenditure of Rs. 15 million upon this project. Dr Shahid said MWF was urging people to extend financial cooperation with the downtrodden sections of society. Amir-e-Tehreek Punjab Ahmad Nawaz Anjum said at the occasion that we stood for the welfare of people without any discrimination. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri wants to convert this society into a welfare society as envisioned by Islam where state is responsible for availability of basic facilities of human survival.
