Addressing a Friday congregation on the subject of conviction and faith in Allah in Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam Mosque, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has asked the faithful to express their sincere gratitude to Allah Almighty for His blessing of giving them the second ten days of forgiveness during the month of Ramadan.
President MQI Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that there is a need to understand and implement the Holy Quran as a code of life. Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri made these remarks while delivering a special lecture on the Holy Quran in Mamoon Kanjan.

The lectures on Irfan-ul-Quran continue to take place throughout the country under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International during the holy month of Ramadan. These lectures are taking place at more than 400 places across the country and will conclude by the end of the holy month.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri continued his series of keynote addresses on the fifth day of Itikaf on the subject of internal spiritual ailments and their cure. Thousands of the residents of Itikaf City listened to his speech with rapt attention. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that every child is born in good nature. No one is born evil. It is the company that leaves its permanent impact on the moral health of people and it is the company of the immediate family that a child has after being born.

The Holy Quran has taught us to desist from committing evil and performing worship according to our capacity. Those who think that they will gradually move away from evil suffer from satanic delusion. The youth should block the evil thoughts in such a manner as the unwanted phone calls are blocked. As long as one is under the influence of evil, one would not be able to enjoy the benefits of piety.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the help of the orphan, the poor and the oppressed is the best form of worship. He said that political, social, economic and welfare teachings of Islam are for the betterment of society and citizens. He said that the system of Zakat and donations is a beautiful reflection of Islam's welfare model.
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the effort to revive the weakening relationship with our Lord is Itikaf. He said that people renounce their worldly engagements during Itikaf and dedicate themselves wholly to win Allah’s pleasure during the last ten days of Ramadan.

Itikaf City, the annual mega event that is held during the last ten days of Ramazan every year under the banner of MQI, has been set up. Thousands of people from across Pakistan and abroad will join the City. Minhaj Welfare Foundation arranged a ceremony for the distribution of ration among the deserving families during the holy month of Ramazan. Secretary General MQI Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, country director MWF Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Khurram Shahzad, Shahbaz Tahir and others were present on the occasion. Hundreds of people got ration packets on the occasion.

The Training and Development Department of COSIS has arranged to hold online training sessions from May 4 to May 8 during the last ten days of Ramazan. Sharing the details of the proposed sessions, Secretary Training Allama Ghulam Murtaza Alvi said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will deliver his special lectures during the five-day sessions.
MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will deliver his online lectures during the last ten days of the holy month of Ramadan. He said that the heart-warming and soul-stirring speeches of Shaykh-ul-Islam are the source of spiritual development, particularly for the youth. He said that the decision has been taken not to hold Itikaf this year in view of the ongoing Corona pandemic in the country.
COSIS to hold five-day online training sessions from May 4
Even during the Eid holidays, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri continued with his lecture series to impart moral and spiritual training to the youth around the world. His online lectures would start at 10:05 pm every night during the holy month of Ramazan and since Eid-ul-Fitr onwards, he has been delivering lectures from 9 pm onwards.
