Sahibzada Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, after viewing the site and the locality, congratulated all those present and gave a mesmeric talk about turning the vision into reality. He pondered upon several points and cited many references from Islamic literature of the need to ensure that Minhaj ul Quran maintains itself as an organisation that inculcates education, promotion of peace, unity and harmony at the heart of its mission.
Another guest of the event was respected Sumaira Faisal from Belgium, President of Women European Council, who beautifully spoke about the auspicious events of Shab-e-Meraj. She shed light on the virtues of the great night and explained that Allah (SWT) performed a great miracle by blessing the Holy Prophet (SAW) with this meeting in the heavens. It was at a time when the Holy Prophet (SAW) was grief stricken due to the passing away of his beloved wife Hazrat Khadijah (RA) and his uncle Hazrat Abu Talib (RA).
Minhaj Women League (Sandwell) organised a gathering at the local mosque to celebrate the epoch-making event of Miraj-un-Nabi (SAW). The theme of the event was ‘Philosophy of Miraj-ul-Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم'. Shamila and Nabila Bibi conducted the proceedings of the programme. The proceedings started off with recitation of the Holy Quran recited by sister Aamina. A couple of Nasheeds were recited by a couple of the attendees.
‘Spiritual Circles’ is a new event on the Minhaj-ul-Quran International Manchester calendar. On a monthly basis, the event seeks to not only engage Muslim youth in the spiritual aspects of life and religion but also in educational, social, civic, local relevant issues. Friday 3rd April saw them gather for the first time in the mosque. Amongst whom were students, professionals, teachers and artists.
Muslim Youth League declares Jihad against ISIS
Muslim Youth League UK (MYL), an active UK based Islamic youth organisation, has declared an ideological war against ISIS and other terrorist groups. Issuing a 7-point declaration on the 27th of March, at an event in Glasgow, they claimed the terrorist groups have 'no link with Islam or the Muslim community'. The Youth League represents young Muslims from around the UK and works actively to promote unity and tolerance. It hopes to embolden other Muslim organisations to issue similar declarations that unequivocally condemn extremism.
On the blessed evening of Saturday, March 28th, 2015 Minhaj ul Quran Dallas organized a family gathering of Islamic spiritual odes and poetry in the praise of our beloved Prophet (SAW) with religious zeal. The celebration took place in the beautifully decorated “Uways Al Qarani” Auditorium Hall of Jame’ Hasan al-Basri and Minhaj-ul-Quran Community Center.
Children gave their input on the meaning of 'sadaqah' and different types of it, such as 'smiling'. Fozia explained that everyone would be making cards for children that are unwell, some of whom may be terminally unwell. She also gave some examples of what messages could be written in the cards to make the children happy when they receive it. Tables were set out in the main hall for groups of children to work around. Various arts and crafts were provided for the children to use; these included: colour pencils, stickers, cards, markers, crayons, pictures and assorted decorations.
The Muslim Youth League UK Sisters Operational Executive team toured the country in a bid to meet 14 Area Executives and teams across the UK. It was a whirlwind of a tour and the only thing missing was the tour bus however there is hope that the next time we do this there will be a bus with all the amenities and a bright pink logo letting other motorway users know that we too can travel in style. But in the meantime we settled for different modes of transport which included the train, an Audi and a Volkswagen Gulf.
In the wake of PAT chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s decision to activate overseas chapters of PAT, a prestigious ceremony of oath-taking was held under the banner of PAT (Spain) in Barcelona on March 14. Addressing the ceremony, Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi said that the ruling elite have broken all past records of corruption and malpractices. He said that the country is being pushed into blind alley with no light at the end of tunnel. He said that the so-called ministers and advisers are busy in illegal practices and justice has become non-existent in the country.
Monthly ‘Gyarvi Shareef’ spiritual programme was held at MQI Walsall on the 1st of March 2015 under the banner of Women League Walsall. The programme started with the beautiful recitation of verses from the Glorious Quran by Sister Tahreem Fazal, a member of Youth League Sisters. Our Beautiful little Minhaji sisters, Khadija-tul-Qubra and Fatima- tul-Zahra praised Allah (SWT) with Hamd. This was followed by sending of greetings and praises on our beloved Prophet (SAW) in the form of Naats recited by sisters Lubna Hashmi, Rani Hussain, Sadia Bibi and sisters from the audience also joined the Naat recitation.
On the 21st of February a Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW) was celebrated under the banner of Minhaj Women League and Minhaj Youth League, which was attended by over seventy people. The gathering was held at Shabnam Parveen’s house (General Secretary Sandwell Minhaj Women League) in West Bromwich. The proceedings of the programme started off with ‘Khatam-e-Ghousia’. Nasheeds were then recited by Minhaj-Al-Barakah sisters of Minhaj Youth League.
The Quaid day event began with Quranic recitation and a heart-touching Naat at Minhaj Education Project in Halifax on Feb 19. Sister Nahid (MWL President Halifax) delivered a talk in Urdu about the contributions and services of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The young children from Minhaj Sunday class did English talk on personality of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and paid him glowing tributes for his services in multiple fields. The Minhaj Youth League (Sisters) delivered English talks on Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri's work and life.
The gathering started with the beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran by Minhaj Youth League Nottingham’s Co-ordinator Sister Imra Hussain, followed by some Nasheeds from the audience. A speech about Shaykh-ul-Islam was given by MWL Nottingham’s president Sister Iram Qaiser and an English speech by MWL Nottingham’s general secretary Sister Shahreen Hussain. A speech regarding the Minhaj Dawah Project was given by Minhaj Dawah Project Manager (MDP) Sister Sadia Jahanzeb.
Process of PAT internal elections begins
Muslim Youth League Sisters in Bradford have hosted “Celebrating the Beloved (PBUH) 2015”, an annual event initially introduced by MYL-S in 2014 in order to commemorate the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). The event took place at Carlisle Business Centre on Manningham Lane and started at 12pm and ended at 3pm. Misbah Wahid, the local area executive for MYLUK – Sisters conducted the proceedings of the event and welcomed the participants to the event and introduced the theme of the event which was female empowerment.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Dallas), in addition to organizing 12-day Mawlid-al-Nabi programs, organized a special gathering to celebrate the birth of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace be upon him) on the very blessed occasion of 12th Rabi-ul-Awal at the beautiful Uways-al-Qarani Auditorium of Minhaj-ul-Quran Community Center in Dallas, Texas USA on Friday, January 2, 2015.
On (Saturday) 24th of January 2015, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women and Muslim Youth League UK Sisters organised a Mawlid entitled Muhammad (SAW), the Merciful. The hall was full of guests, not an empty seat in sight. Around 500 people attended the programme. It was a bilingual Mawlid gathering, the first half was in English for the youth and the second half in Urdu for the elder generation.

The aim of this event was to clarify and highlight the real definition of Shaykh-ul-Islam, what qualifications are needed and what are the requirements of being a Shaykh-ul-Islam?
