The members of the Bangladeshi, Pakistani, Gambian, Lebanese, and American communities from the Dallas Fort Worth area joined in a night of celebration commemorating the Mawlid-un-Nabi program hosted by the Minhaj-ul-Quran Dallas at Jame’ Hasan al-Basri. The celebration took place on the 18th of January.
By the grace of Almighty Allah, in this age of temptation, where there is an increase in the attacks of the Shaitan, there is also an increase in the number of devotees of the Holy Prophet (SAW) who are very enthusiastic to celebrate birthday of their beloved Prophet (SAW) and show their love for him (SAW). The proof and evidence for this is the Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW) conference, which was attended by a large number of people.
The programme commenced with the beautiful recitation of the Qur'any Hafiza Maimuna Bukhari followed by praises of the Prophet (SAW) by Sister Tay-yibah Shabbir, who in her magnificent voice recited heart warming praises. It was followed by Hafiza Maryam Noor’s reflective account of the Prophet’s (SAW) mercy and compassion. The gathering was addressed with the remembrance of our Prophet (SAW) with a poem read by Haleema Ansar.
On the 10th of January 2015, Muslim Youth League UK (MYL UK) in partnership with Ahl-ul-Bait Society held a very unique conference entitled "Love Muhammad Conference", which was attended by people of various sects and walks of life.
A senior level delegation of Minhaj European Council led by Ejaz Warraich (President) visited MQI Brussels. Billal Uppal (General Secretary) and Allama Iqbal Fani (Director, MQI Norway) were other members of the delegation.
With the blessings of Almighty Allah and intermediation of His Beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW), the monthly gathering of “Halqa-e-Durood and Giyarvih Shareef” was held at Minhaj-ul-Qur’an Central Mosque (Madina Hall, 122 Withington Road, Whalley Range, Manchester, M16 8FB) on December 07, 2014. Allama Muhammad Haroon Abbasi, Director of Minhaj-ul-Qur’an International Greater Manchester, presided over the programme.

Minhaj Youth League (MYL) Norway is dedicated towards spreading true knowledge about Islam. To achieve this goal, MYL regularly arranges seminars about different Islamic topics. These seminars are one of many intellectual, spiritual and social events MYL arranges for the community in Norway. As part of this work MYL arranged a seminar on “Shirk” (polytheism) on 5th May. Unlike the previous seminar, this seminar was held in the mosque.
Mi’raj-un-Nabi is a great gift for the Muslims. It was the most blessed journey of human history during the night of Ascent. Even to this date, human mind has failed to comprehend the essence of the ‘Miracle of Mi’raj'. It is the highest honor, which no other prophet or man ever had, bestowed to our beloved Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) to personally be in the company of Almighty Allah.
On 21st May 2014, Jamia Masjid Minhaj-ul-Quran (Nelson) began weekly lecture sessions for young students who attend the education centre. Sister Tahira Basharat, head teacher at the education centre, invited Sister Atikah Parveen, a member of the Minhaj Youth League, and deliver short talks about a number of topics that often affect the youth of today.
On Sunday 18th May Sandwell Minhaj Women’s League UK held an event on May 18 to celebrate Shab-e-Miraaj at Corbett Street Mosque in Smethwick. The programme was attended by over 50 sisters. The proceedings started off with Tilawat and nasheeds which were recited by sister Nabila. Our stage secretary sister Tasleem then introduced our speaker sister Ruksana Aalam who gave a speech on the beautiful meeting between Allah and His Beloved Prophet Muhammed (SAW).

On 4th May 2014, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League, Bispevej Denmark, organised an annual Miraj-un-Nabi (P.B.U.H) Conference for females. The event was attended by a large number of ladies and youth from the surrounding areas. The hosting duties were fulfilled in the best manner by the president of the youth league, Tayyeba Kausar. Mehmoona Siraj, a student from the department of Hifz, was given the privilege of reciting the verses of the Holy Quran. Hamd was recited by Hajrah Shah.
Dawood Hussain, Managing Director of MWF, said: “It is important that the UK government focuses on ensuring good governance, strengthening accountability and ensuring that the Pakistani government pursues its commitment on tax reforms. The Pakistani Diaspora has a strong presence here in the UK and has been very generous over the years sending hundreds of millions of pounds in remittance and foreign aid.
Addressing the participants of the rally at traffic square, PAT central President Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz said that revolutionary steps were needed to get rid of scourge of terrorism. He said that those elected to provide leadership at this critical juncture did not have the vision and ability to steer the country of myriad problems in which it was stuck up. He said that everyone knows as to who was responsible for lawlessness but still nothing was being done to stem the tide. He said that efforts for peace making failed with the result that bomb blasts and incidents of terrorism continued to occur adding to human toll.

Rabbi-uth-Thaani is a month of celebration and commemoration of the blessed life of Shaykh Abdul Qadri Jilani (RA). Muslim Youth League-Sisters took the initiative to host “The Sultan of Awliya 2014” event on Sunday 16th March 2014 at the Minhaj-ul-Quran Centre on 187 Manningham Lane in Bradford.
Addressing the participants of the rally, PAT President Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz said that the children of the nation were dying while there was no one to take care of them and stop this merciless dance of death. He asked the people who were sandwiched between price hike, neglect and poverty and unemployment to join the caravan of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri for a change in the country. He said that if the people became aware of their rights and determined to get them back from the predatory elite, their destiny would change for good.
On 21st February 2014, the Muslim Youth League – Sisters in Nelson held an event to celebrate the life and work of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, which added to the weeklong events of Quaid day celebrations.
