Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri paid an official visit to Denmark for one week. During the visit, on the 7th September 2012, the Minhaj Women League and Minhaj Youth League hosted a dinner, in which there was a large number of executives and members of the public in attendance.
The world’s second biggest Itikaf after the one held at the Two Holy Mosques in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia began in Lahore yesterday. Thousands of participants, both men and women, will spend their ten days and nights in remembrance of Allah in the Itikaf City organized under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International in Jamia Al-Minhaj, Township, Lahore. Separate arrangements have been made for the female participants of Itikaf City.

MQI holds demonstrations to protest human rights violation in Myanmar
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Lahore chapter) held a demonstration in front of Lahore Press Club to protest the massacre of Muslim Rohingya community in Myanmar (Burma) on August 2, 2012 in which hundreds of people participated. The demonstration was led by G.M. Malik, naib Nazim-e-Ala of MQI and Irshad Ahmad Tahir, Amir of MQI Lahore.

“I Love Alumwell” event was organized by Walsall House Group and Birmingham and Black Country community Trust on 21st of July, 2012. It was aimed at bringing the communities together for better cohesion.
On the 15th of July 2012, Muslim Youth League (Birmingham) organized its second annual Ramadan Crash Course. The course constituted a 3 hour intensive discussion on Spirit of Fasting; how to move beyond the outward form of Fasting and attain perpetual spiritual benefits.
Shab-e-Barat was celebrated with great respect and religious fervor at MQI Center (Berlin) by a large number of Muslims. The program was started after Maghrab prayers with the recitation of Holy Quran by Hafiz Zahin-ud-Din from Afghanistan.
Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah SWT and the intermediation of his beloved Prophet (SAW), Muslim Youth League UK (Brothers) held a weekend residential in Minhaj-ul-Quran Walsall over the weekend of 7th and 8th of July 2012.

Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League (Islamabad chapter) organized the most successful Youth Convention of the capital’s history on July 2, 2012. The chief highlight of the Convention was the participation of leading intellectuals, columnists, and political notables besides a large number of workers of MYL. The Center of Interreligious Dialogue in Berlin celebrated its ten years of engagement for interfaith harmony and peaceful coexistence with the cooperation of different Muslim, Christian, Jewish and Buddhist organizations.
Youth Convention (Rawalpindi) was held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League on July 1, 2012 in which more than five hundred youths and students took part. The proceedings of the Convention got underway with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by Naat in the honour of the Holy Prophet (SAW).
MQI (Vehari chapter) arranged a splendid Public Awareness Convention in Khursheed Hall on June 21, 2012 in which Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, Amir of MQI Punjab, was the chief guest and Ch. Qamar Abbas.
On the occasion of Workers Convention in Pakpattan, Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League and Mustafavi Students Movement took out a motorcycle rally on June 20, 2012, which was led by Amir of MQI Punjab Ahmad Nawaz Anjum. The leaders of local chapter of MQI were also present on the occasion.
