On the occasion of Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal’s 133rd birth anniversary, a central delegation of Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League (MYL) headed by its president Chaudhry Baber Ali visited the shrine of Hazrat Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal, laid floral wreath at his grave on behalf of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and offered Fatah. The delegation consisted of Ishtiaq Hanif Mughal, Imran Bhatti, Chaudhry Atiq-ur-Rehman, Waqar Ahmad Qadri, Kashif Chishti, Zubair Ahmad Gillani, Saeed Bhatti and others.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League launches ten-day campaign for promotion of Iqbal’s thought
On November 1 2010, Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League France has organized an exceptional video game contest. The game chosen for this tournament was « Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 », the famous soccer game, well known all over the world among the youth in general and the football lovers in particular.

Iftikhar Shah Bokahri, Director of MWF, has said that more than 12000 workers and hundreds of volunteers of Minhaj Welfare Foundation are working for the rehabilitation of the flood victims on the instructions of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The Foundation has so far spent Rs. 120 million on the rehabilitation of the flood affectees. 300 families have been given Rs. 15000 each, while 170 trucks of different goods have been dispatched to the flood affected areas.
On September 3, 2010, MYL Norway invited the Muslim students to an Iftar dinner. About 220 participated. It is heartening that the number has exceeded compared with the participation last year. MYL Norway began the evening by introducing the work and vision of MYL, going over their goals. Furthermore, they had chosen quite an interesting theme, called “Nafs vs Ruh” (ill-commanding self vs. soul). The main speech on this subject was delivered by scholar Nasir Ali Awan (Minhajian), who is also the General Secretary of MQI Oslo, Norway.
An opening ceremony was held for the first Muslim Youth League UK (MYL UK) head office which is situated in Sheffield. The official opening was performed by special guest Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Secretary General Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) and Shaykh Abu Adam ash-Shirazi President MQI UK.
The event titled ‘Restoring Peace and Ending Extremism’ organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Glasgow jointly with the Muslim Youth League UK was held at one of Glasgow’s finest restaurants, Kabana, on Friday the 18th of June 2010, which catered for over 200 people. Attended by distinguished guests of which a few included Deputy First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, Alan Burnett, who was part of the former counter anti-terrorism squad and guest of honour, Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, son of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
The conference entitled as 'Jihad Hijacked, was organised by Muslim Youth League UK (MYL UK). The keynote speaker on the occasion was Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri who gave a comprehensive lecture on the true Islamic concept of Jihad. Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri explained that the 31 verses of the Holy Quran mentioned non-violent forms of Jihad such as struggling to gain knowledge, spirituality, charity and character reformation.
The office holders of Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League France called on Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of MQI’s Supreme Council, on June 9, 2010 and discussed with him matters of mutual interest. Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, Hafiz Allama Nazir Ahmad Khan, Abdul Jabbar Butt, Rao Khalil Ahmad, and Allama Hassan Mir Qadri were also present in the meeting.

A record collection worth £2150 was earned at the Meena Bazaar organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (London) on Sunday 30th May 2010. The chief organizer of this hugely enjoyable and very successful afternoon was the new President of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League – London, Sister Zarida Shafique. Although it was a cloudy day, a large number of locals attended. There was some really special food at rock bottom prices prepared and donated by the whole of the Women’s League- London, together with all kinds of bric-a-brac.
Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri speaks on Terrorism in Berlin
Sahibzada Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the only way to defeat terrorists and extremists is through collaboration. He also said that there is a manifest difference between Muslims and Khwarjis and that people who commit suicide bombing are out of the orbit of Islam. After that, he referred to Dr. Tahir- ul-Qadri’s saying that “Terrorists are not the heroes of the Ummah but the heroes of the hell fire, and they are leading towards hell fire”.
The concluding ceremony of second Irfan-ul-Quran Course was held in the Quaid-a-Azam Standard School Milad Nagar under Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League Rawalpindi. Director of Irfan-ul-Quran Course Allama Sharif Sialvi, Rana Sajud Mahmood, Saeed Raja and Furrukh Bilal were present among the distinguished audience. The formal proceedings of the programme got under way with recitation from the Holy Quran followed by Naat. Certificates were distributed among the successful students. Expressing their views on the occasion, the position holding students appreciated the utility of the Irfan-ul-Quran Course.
By the Grace of Allah Almighty, the blessings of His Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.), and special spiritual benevolence of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the Muslim Youth League London held a conference in MQI London, in the remembrance of Shaykh Abdul Qadir Gilani.

Patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Chairman of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Professor Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on Sunday urged the youth to forge unity among their ranks and follow the teachings of Islam in letter and spirit.
