Mahafil e Sama - Minhaj ul Quran Youth League
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Carpi) arranged a grand Mawild-un-Nabi March (SAW) that started off from Limdi Hall of Carpi. In addition to associates and workers of MQI and its various branches, a large number of Muslims and representatives of other Islamic organizations also took part in the Milad March. Minhaj-Youth-League played central role in the successful conduct of March, whereas Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League and Women Youth League showed exemplary performance in terms of its attendance.
Addressing the Youth Peace Conference, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of MQI Federal Council, has said that the youth should make Operation Zarb-e-Azb successful by launching Operation Zarb-e-Ilm. He said that these are not the roads, bridges and motorways that make nations, adding that promotion of knowledge and arts do. He said that incompetent political leadership and ignorance generated terrorism, injustice and intolerance. He said that heavy responsibility falls on the shoulders of the youth to crush terrorism and extremism.

Islamic Curriculum on Peace and Counter-Terrorism was launched in a ceremony held under the banner of Minhaj Youth League Karachi at Expo Centre on November 16. The chief guest of the event was MYL President Mazhar Alvi. The Dean of Islamic Studies, Karachi University, was the guest of honour at the occasion. A large number of leaders and workers of MYL Karachi attended the programme.
On the 25th of October 2015 onward, MWL Burnley held Muharram gathering. It was attended by twenty three sisters. The program began with melodious recitation of The Holy Quran by Sister Aaiza Iqbal (Youth League Burnley). This was followed by heart touching ‘Manqabats’ remembering the sacrifices of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his family and companions. These were recited by Sister Aaiza and Sister Rabbia Iqbal and other local sisters.
‘Feed the hungry’ is an initiative of Birmingham Muslim Youth League sisters (MYL-S). It takes place every year in the blessed month of Ramadan and aims to provide free food for the homeless and hungry. The sisters took to the streets with home-made food and donations made by MYL-S members. The volunteers gathered together in Birmingham city centre and handed out food to those less fortunate than them whilst observing fasts themselves.
On the 24th October, Muslim Youth League (Brothers) organised a trip to visit possibly the world’s oldest known manuscript of the Qur’an. People from all over the world, from countries as far as New Zealand, have travelled to see this remarkable manuscript of the Qur’an. This manuscript of the Qur’an is being looked after in Birmingham University. The Qur’an manuscript is part of the University’s Mingana Collection of Middle Eastern manuscripts, held in the Cadbury Research Library.
PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that Pakistan is a trust of the martyrs and the Operation Zarb-e-Azb is the nation’s resolve for establishment of peace. He said that it is not the weapons but the determination and courage of the nations that gets them through the wars, adding that the whole world witnessed this marvelous sense of unity during the war of 1965 when the people and the armed forces of Pakistan together defeated a far bigger enemy and thus chronicled a new chapter of sacrifice in the annals of history.

By the Grace of Allah Almighty and through the blessings of the Holy Prophet (peace & blessings be upon him) Minhaj Women League (Stepps) held its monthly Halqa-e-Durood in Bishopbriggs on the 13th August 2015. The programme started with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran by sister Nusrat, followed by recitation of Nasheeds in the blessed court of the Holy Prophet (peace & blessings be upon him) by sisters Noshela Ali and Ghuzala Munir.

Speakers at MYL seminar deplore political gimmicks of rulers
On 26th July 2015, a Peace Seminar was arranged by Minhaj-ul-Quran International Manchester. The Seminar was held as a first initiative of this type in this area and to raise awareness of the recent initiative of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in launching the most comprehensive Peace and Counter-Terrorism Curriculum and supporting course materials and books.
On the 23rd of July 2015, the Muslim Youth League UK organized an internet safety workshop which took place at the Minhaj-ul-Quran mosque in Glasgow, where young people and parents came together to learn about issues related to online safety. Shaykh Rehan Ahmed Raza al-Azhari, an Islamic scholar and an active member of the Youth League, delivered his keynote speech at the workshop.
Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed these views while addressing thousands of the residents of Itikaf City yesterday. It is pertinent to mention that more than 16,000 residents of Itikaf City including women listened to the keynote speech of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri separately. Stringent security measures have been put in place in and around the Itikaf City where more than 1000 youths of Mustafvi Students Movement and Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League are doing the security duties.

YOUNG Muslim leaders have warned against the UK carrying out airstrikes in Syria saying the move would fail to curb the rise of the terror group Daesh. Senior members of the community said the intervention would inevitably lead to a “backlash” against the west and stoke up further support for the extremist organisation among Muslim youths both in Britain and in the Middle East.
The month of Ramadan is a very special time for Muslims across the globe, as it is a time when people strive harder than ever to please their Lord and gain blessings. Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, abstaining from food or drink for the whole period. This can also be classified as a Jihad in the way of Allah, for inner peace, purification and satisfaction as well as a Jihad against one's lower self also known as Nafs.
Halqa-e-Darood gatherings were held by MWL Burnley throughout Ramadan. The sisters gathered on the 24th of June 2015, for one of their weekly circles. The importance of Ramadan and how to benefit from this Holy month were highlighted throughout this blessed month. The Mehfil was initiated with heart touching recitation of the Holy Quran with translation by Sister Aaiza Iqbal (Youth League Burnley).
