Mawlid Conference hosted by Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League (Glasgow)

MQI Convening body formed in Taiwan

MQI Oslo holds a grand Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference

The event of Milad-Un-Nabi (SAW) was celebrated with great enthusiasm on Saturday, 5th March 2011 under the auspices of Minhaj-Ul-Quran International Oslo, in which a large number of people from surrounding areas participated. The Programme started with the recitation from the Holy Quran by Imam Qari Tofeeq Ahmed. He also recited a delightful ‘nashhed’ . Muhammad Wahhed Butt Noori, a renowned naat khwaan from Pakistan, recited Naat in a beautiful manner. Muhammed Milaad Raza Qadri also participated and presented some beautiful Nasheeds.

MWF (Wah Cantonment chapter) organizes congregational marriage ceremony

Shaykh-ul-Islam appoints Dr Joel Hayward as his Strategic Policy Adviser

Dr Joel Hayward has been appointed as ‘Strategic Policy Adviser to Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’ after a meeting in London on March 8, 2011. Dr Hayward has been given this responsibility with immediate effect. In a four-hour meeting with Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri various issues of mutual interest were discussed including the role of Muslims in Britain, human rights and integration in British society, and the struggle against extremism.

Thousands attend protest demonstration against price hike under PAT & MQI

Gender Equality and Islam

Gender inequality, a hot issue, is genetically ascribed to religion whereas its causes are purely non-religious. It originates from political, economic, social and cultural factors. As for Islam, gender equality is part of its jurisprudence and fundamental teachings. Numerous Verses of the Qur’an and Prophetic Traditions enjoin gender equality which categorically proves that gender inequality is not faith-based.

Mustafavi Students Movement Islamabad celebrates Quaid Day

More than 150 students, from different schools and colleges of Islamabad and Rawalpindi were present in this event. Vice President MSM Pakistan Irfan Yusuf was the chief guest of the program. The Program started with the name of Almighty Allah. Rahat Saqi beautifully recited the Holy Quran. After recitation of the Holy Quran, Faran Rasool Bajwa recited the Naat.
