The fourth lecture of the series of lectures known as Duroos e Irfan-ul-Quran was delivered on July 25, 2012 under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Burewala chapter) at Askari Law College, Afaq Khan Chowk, Burewala. Allama Rana Nafees Hussain Qadri, the student of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, was the keynote speaker on the occasion.

Allama Muhammad Ahmad Raza gave a lecture on the topic of ‘Service of Religion and Spending in the way of Allah’. He based his talk on the text of the Holy Quran and the Prophetic traditions. The people of the area appreciated MQI for its initiative to educate them about the fundamentals of the Holy Quran. They congratulated the local office bearers for the wonderful arrangements.

Allama Hafiz Saeed-ul-Hassan Tahir delivered his lecture on subject of the practices of the Holy Prophet (SAW) during the holy month of Ramadan. He said that Ramadan was an occasion to amass as many rewards and spiritual blessings as one could.

Islam confers all rights on women: Allama Nafees Hussain Qadri

Allama Nafees Hussain Qadri gave references from the Islamic history and told that women took active part in national life during the early days of Islam. They served as Ambassadors, law makers and even preachers. He said that those who propagated against education of women did not know anything about Islam.

Allama Ghazanfer Hussain Qadri delivered his lecture on the Islamic concept of collectivity. He said that the Islamic community was divided into different sections and local identities today. He said that people tended to approach their religion through sectarian approach and did not hesitate from decreeing others out of the pale of Islam.

MWF launches Ramzan package across the country

On the special instructions of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the distribution of Ramzan package has been initiated among the low-income families across the country under the Helpfeed Project 2012 of Minhaj Welfare Foundation. The prestigious inaugural ceremony in this regard was held in central secretariat of MQI in Lahore in which ration package of worth Rs. 5000 was distributed among 200 poor families.

Razi Niazi, President of MQI (USA), arrived in Pakistan on July 3, 2012 and paid a detailed visit to the Central Secretariat. When Razi Niazi along with his family reached Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore at 10 a.m., they were received by G.M. Malik (Naib Nazim e Aala), Raja Jamil Ajmal (Director of Foreign Affairs), Muhammad Amir Yousuf (Director Productions) and the members of DFA.

Registration of Itikaf 2012 begins
