Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the effort to revive the weakening relationship with our Lord is Itikaf. He said that people renounce their worldly engagements during Itikaf and dedicate themselves wholly to win Allah’s pleasure during the last ten days of Ramadan.
Thousands of the faithful from across Pakistan as well as the UK, America, Canada, and other countries have joined the Itikaf City of Minhaj-ul-Quran International this evening. MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri congratulated the residents of Itikaf City and said that they are blessed people of Allah, as they have dedicated ten days for His worship away from the hustle and bustle of life.

The society is facing comprehensive decline owing to the erosion of the social, and intellectual values as well as those of knowledge. The skyrocketing inflation has taken a heavy toll on the life of citizens as they find it nearly impossible to afford Hajj, make their both ends meet and dedicate the last ten days of Ramadan for spiritual retreat.
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri visited the Itikaf City Jame Al-Minhaj and inspected the arrangements for Itikaf 2023. He directed the secretary administrative committee to take every possible care of the residents so that they can spend their time most productively in worship and prayer.
Addressing a Friday congregation on the subject of conviction and faith in Allah in Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam Mosque, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has asked the faithful to express their sincere gratitude to Allah Almighty for His blessing of giving them the second ten days of forgiveness during the month of Ramadan.

Chairman Supreme Council, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri visited the Minhaj ul Quran Itikaf City at Jame Al-Minhaj, following which he assessed the ongoing decorations and arrangements in the mosque and gave directions for providing exemplary facilities to those observing Itikaf.
The preparations have begun for Itikaf 2023, the biggest Itikaf congregation after the one held at the Two Holy Mosques, being held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International during the last ten days of the ongoing holy month of Ramadan. The people can register themselves for the attendance of Itikaf. A central desk has been set up at the MQI central secretariat in this regard.
An important meeting of the MQI Supreme Council was held here at the central secretariat on June 22, 2022. Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presided over the meeting, whereas Secretary Supreme Council Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Brig. (r ) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Dr Rafique Najam, Dr Farah Naz, Muhammad Farooq Rana, Noorullah Siddiqui, and Abdur Rehman were in attendance.
A meeting of the Central Executive Council (CEC) of MQI was held here under the leadership of Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. The heads and presidents of all zonal organizations presented their respective performance reports in the meeting. Chairman Supreme Council expressed his satisfaction and happiness on the performance of the various departments and directorates. He, however, urged them to bring about further improvements in their working to meet the organizational targets.
Those who tread the path of spirituality should safeguard their good deeds. When one treads the path of achieving nearness to Allah, being consistent and steadfast is a necessity. After some headway is made and spiritual taste has been developed, then one should take every action to protect this state of mind so that one can be blessed.
In an ongoing lecture series on the topic of 'Taharat al-Qulub' (purification of the heart), MQI patron-in-chief and founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri continued with his talk on the spiritual ailments and their cure. He said that the sins a man commits relate to both his outer and inner selves. He said that Allah Almighty considers the sins of the inner self first of all, not the apparent actions.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri continued his series of keynote addresses on the fifth day of Itikaf on the subject of internal spiritual ailments and their cure. Thousands of the residents of Itikaf City listened to his speech with rapt attention. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that every child is born in good nature. No one is born evil. It is the company that leaves its permanent impact on the moral health of people and it is the company of the immediate family that a child has after being born.
An International Spiritual Gathering (Laylatul Qadr) marking the 27th night of Ramadan was held here under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri delivered his keynote address through a video link live from Canada.
The Holy Quran has taught us to desist from committing evil and performing worship according to our capacity. Those who think that they will gradually move away from evil suffer from satanic delusion. The youth should block the evil thoughts in such a manner as the unwanted phone calls are blocked. As long as one is under the influence of evil, one would not be able to enjoy the benefits of piety.
