views about Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri & MSM I do not say that we should take on the entire world in the name of Islam. We need an Islam, which has thoroughly been discussed in a book lying at the central stage in front of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. It is about Sir-tur-Rasool (peace be upon him) and is a preamble Volume 1.
The present global political injustices are classified by international relations experts, as the worst in human history and regrettably terrorism is now linked with Islam. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, a professor and leading contemporary thinker and author, has clarified how terrorism does not belong to any religion. He makes clear that it is neither an Islamic phenomenon, Jewish or a Christian one, rather it is a social, political and an economical problem.
Ever since 9/11 struck the world, Pakistan has been the worst affected country of the phenomenon of terrorism. Other than Iraq and Afghanistan, where naked civil wars are being fought as a result of foreign interventions, Pakistan is the only country, which has paid so immensely for its contribution to the so-called war on terror.
"Ramadan is the (month) in which the Quran was sent down, as a guide to mankind and a clear guidance and judgment (so that mankind will distinguish from right and wrong).." (Q 2:183) Oh you who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that you many learn piety and righteousness" (Q 2:183)
The Prophet (SAW) has said that Allah (SWT) says: Fasting is Mine, and I determine its reward. He (the believer) abstains from his carnal appetite, his food, and his drink for My sake. Fasting is a protective shield. And the Prophet (SAW) said that its a protective shield by means of which the servant (of the Lord) is shielded from the fire of Hell.
After sixty years of our long life, we, the Pakistani, are standing still at crossroad where we hesitate and linger for a moment and do not know where to go because we have uncharted sea ahead with thousands of fear lying down. Sixty years life is not too little to do well in life.
Alhumdulilah by Grace and Blessings of Allah Almighty around 200 sisters, both young and old gathered to participate in a Mawlid un- Nabi Majlis held at the Minhaj-ul-Quran Educational Center in East London . It was a beautiful sight seeing different faces gathering together just for the sake of gaining the pleasure Allah (swt) and His Habib (saw). Quranic Talawat and Darood (recited in Hazur Sayidi Shaykh ul- Islams words and style) were recited melodiously to begin the programme.
3...2...1...as the clock struck midnight people across the globe were celebrating the New Year in so called style. Was it that the world outside was living in a faade that would be short lived? Or was it that there was no security and peace in what they had to offer? What made me spend this eve in the Idhara? My hunger for inner peace of mind, food for the heart and sustenance for my spirit.
Hosted by: Sister Shahida Rasool, Tilawat-e-Quran: sister Fareeda, English speech: brother Bassat (London), Urdu speech: Sister Faiza (London), Quest: Maxine (part of the Respect political group) It is by the Grace of Allah Almighty and the blessings of His Beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw) that we had the opportunity to organise a programme for the Shahadat Imam Hussain on 26th February 2006 in which, around 150 females attended both elders and youngsters. We started the conference with Sister Fareeda reciting Tilawt-e-Quran from Surah Al-Baqarah, and then a beautiful nasheed was recited by sister Mumtaaz
RUHENGERI, Rwanda -- The villagers with their forest green head wraps and forest green Korans arrived at the mosque on a rainy Sunday afternoon for a lecture for new converts. There was one main topic: jihad. They found their seats and flipped to the right page. Hands flew in the air. People read passages aloud. And the word jihad -- holy struggle -- echoed again and again through the dark, leaky room.
مَوْلايَ صَلِّ وَسَلِّـمْ دَائِمـاً أَبـَـدًا عَلى حَبِيْبِـكَ خَيْــرِ الْخَلْقِ كُلِّهِـمِ
The shocking news of the London bombings came at time when the happiness for the Londoners was at a peak after successfully winning the bid to host the Olympic Games 2012. The attack has been termed as the worst ever attack on the British soil after the Second World War, indeed it sent shock waves throughout the world. The well-targeted attacks on the London public transport system were, without doubt aimed at the civilians generally and quite indiscriminately and innocent people irrespective of race, ethnicity, age or religion.
Alhamdulillah by the blessings of Almighty Allah and His beloved Prophet (saw) approximately 200 people, men and women of both youth & elders gathered to take part in this spiritual programme. The New Year Eve Dhikr project started a few years ago to offer a spiritual alternative for the youth. We are all aware of the blameworthy activities that normally take place during this time. Therefore instead of participating in activities that break the laws ordained by Allah (swt) our youth were presented with the opportunity to spend the night in His remembrance instead.
