MWL’s struggle for the rights of women: Dr Farah Naz
Translation of Irfan-ul-Quran, the translation of the Holy Quran done by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has been published in 11 languages. These languages are Urdu, English, Norwegian, Finnish, Greek, Danish, Hindi, Pashto, Sindhi, Bengali and Kashmiri, whereas the translations in the French and Gujarati (Indian) languages are under the process of publication.
Students’ parliament meeting of Mustafavi Students Movement (MSM) was held at the central secretariat, which was attended by the central, and provincial office-holders including those of the educational institutions, universities and colleges. The meeting decided to hold an All-Pakistan Students Convention on the 29th of January in Lahore in which thousands of students from different parts of the country would take part.
Naib Nazim-e-Ala Coordination Engineer Muhammad Rafique Najam has said that MQI is a movement working for the character building of the succeeding generations. He said that there is a dire need of the hour that we protect our faith, equip our children and youth with purposeful education, and take steps to spread the light of knowledge.
Minhaj-ul-Quran Interfaith Relations arranged a ceremony to celebrate Christmas. The event was attended by a large number of men, women and children belonging to the Christian community. The Christian faith leaders including Pastor Anwar, Pastor Yaqoob, Pastor Liaqat, and Pastor Emmanuel were also in attendance.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the passing of Ash-Shaykh As-Sayyid Hashim Bin Ahmad Al-Badr Al-Madani, Khadim of the Prophet’s Mosque. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace.

Gosha-e-Durood, which was established at the Minhaj ul Quran International secretariat, has completed 17 years. Greetings and salutations offered in the court of the beloved Prophet (pbuh) have exceeded the number of 5 trillion, 41 billion and 700 million.
Addressing the 34th foundation day of Minhaj-ul-Quran Youth League (MYL) held on the subject of “Let us go together” at the central secretariat, the speakers termed the current system as the killer of creative potential of the youth.
President MQI Prof Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that Islam is a religion of peace, love, and harmony. He said that tolerance, respect, moderation, and respect for humanity are essential teachings of Islam. He said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) urged his followers to do good and spread goodness. He said that if all of us follow the ‘Seera’ of our beloved Prophet (PBUH) in letter and spirit, our lives would become easier.
Ms. Samra Mursaleen, a PhD scholar at the Coventry University, completed her PhD degree on Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s peace narrative. The title of her thesis is Islamic Theology as a Counter-Narrative to Terrorism: Analysing the Content, Extent and Impact of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri’s Works on Counter-Terrorism.”
A monthly spiritual gathering of Gosha-e-Durood was held at the central secretariat of MQI in Model Town. A large number of people including MQI leaders, religious scholars, Mashaykh, staff members, teachers and students of COSIS Qaris and Naat khawan attended the ceremony.
MQI Lahore arranged a Workers Convention in which President MQI Prof Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri spoke as the guest of honour. Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Rana Nafees Hussain Qadri, Mian Mumtaz Hussain, office-bearers, representatives and a large number of people attended the Convention. The workers and leaders of MQI Lahore extended a warm welcome to Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri on his arrival at the central secretariat. They showered rose petals on him and chanted welcoming slogans
The keynote address was delivered by Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri, the grandson of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Shaykh Hammad spoke about the merciful nature of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and gave many examples of this fact including the Holy Prophet (PBUH)’s mercy at the Conquest of Mecca.

Renowned Islamic scholar, Imam of Jamy Mosque Al-Wahid and President Muslim Community Italy Yahya Sergio Yahe Pallavicini delivered his Friday sermon in Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam in Model Town.
A Dua ceremony was held in Jamy Shaykh-ul-Islam for the departed soul of Dr Mumtaz-ul-Hassan, a longtime associate of MQI and former vice-chancellor of prestigious King Edward Medical University.
