By the Grace of Allah Almighty & the Blessings of His Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.), a Training Workshop was organized by M.S.M. (Sisters) Faisalabad. The workshop started with the recitation of verses from The Holy Quran followed by a beautiful Nasheed & salutations sent on Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.). Introductory words were said by Sister Aqsa (Chief Coordinator M.S.M Sisters Faisalabad), in which she explained the need and the importance of this training workshop in detail and she also gave introduction of the lecturers.
Miss Sajida Sadiq (Naib Nazima Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Pakistan) gave a comprehensive & well grounded lecture on the topic “Students’ role in nation building.” During her talk she said that Youth is that spark which needs no ignition. Youth is that clay which can be moulded in either shape one wants. In my belief, she said, this is the sole reason for both exploitation and utilization of youth in the destruction and construction of any nation respectively. She said that it is a fact that, the nation’s building is highly dependent on youth & youth should step forward to take up the responsibility of developing the nation. Youths are not given proper chance to prove their potentials in countries like ours, but, “The young do not know enough to be prudent, and therefore they attempt the impossible, and achieve it, generation after generation”. It is observed that, the youth who always fight for enjoying their rights, never wish to take up the pains of responsibility. She said that it seems highly surprising that, we, the youth fail to display the same enthusiasm in nation building which we often display for getting ahead in traffic? Have we really forgotten our responsibility towards our nation or that we are knowingly skipping the tasks to achieve development? Continuing her talk she said students have always been playing a vital role in making movements successful. She said students are young and energetic individuals of the society. They have knowledge, passion, enthusiasm, power and a number of other qualities to bring about change in the society. MSM Sisters need to organize themselves well and keep working consistently to achieve the desired results.
Sister Aqsa (Chief Cordinator MSM Sisters Faisalabad) gave a brief report of MSM Sisters’ working and deplored obscenity that was on increase in our society. The evil forces are trampling our social values. Now we need to struggle hard against these evils by acting upon the Sunnah of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This is the motive of MSM Sisters, Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League that is committed to bring about a positive change in society under the inspiring leadership of Shaykh-ul-Islam dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. It is the close relationship with the leader and strong commitment to the cause of the mission that really matters. She focused on training themselves first on spiritual basis.
Sister Sadaf Iqbal (Nazima MSM Sisters) briefed the students about work in educational Institutions. She also threw light on how to develop contact with the students’ community and the effectiveness of a strong link with the teachers community in this regard. She said that MSM Sisters need to draw inspiration from the Quran and the teachings of Shaykh-ul-Islam. By spreading the light of guidance we can change the society. We can only succeed if we adopt the teachings of the Quran. For that, she emphasized that they needed to benefit the books and CDs containing teachings of Shaykh-ul-Islam the maximum. She said that MSM Sisters should work hard to spread awareness among the youth. She answered the questions raised by students. She also explained the projects of MSM including CD Exchange & Discussion Circles.
The workshop ended with special prayers led by Sister Sumaira Khalqi (Nazima Dawat Fsd).
