Parents should strengthen their children’s bond with the Holy Quran: Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
A ceremony was arranged under the banner of Minhaj Institute for Qirat and Tahfizul Quran to distribute certificates among the students who completed the learning of the Holy Quran by heart. Director Aagosh Complex Prof Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri was the guest of honour on the occasion.
In his speech, Prof Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that those parents are lucky who are aware of the importance of imparting the education of the Holy Quran to their children. He said that reading and teaching the Holy Quran, and spreading its understanding is great worship. He appreciated the efforts of Minhaj Institute for Qirat and Tahfizul Quran for the promotion of the Quranic teachings. He congratulated Principal of the Institute Allama Abbas Naqshbandi, the teachers and the students on their commitment to religious education. He also lauded the role of parents in these endeavours.
Allama Abbas Naqashbandi threw light on the services of Tahfiz-al-Quran Institute and said that hundreds of students have completed their Quranic education from it over the years. He said that 60 male and 10 female students completed the learning of the Holy Quran by heart this year.
Mrs. Fizzah Hussain Qadri, and Romana Mubashar distributed shields among the female students, whereas Allama Abbas Naqshbandi, Director Hajj Operations Iqrar Ahmad, Harif Zahoor, Muhammad Ahmad, Col (r ) Mubahser Iqbal, Mian Zahid Islam, Allama Ghulam Murtaza Alvi, Qari Ghulam Hussain, Qari Sardar Inamullah Naeemi, Qari Muhammad Hussain, Qari Muhammad Anees-ur-Rehman, Qari Muhammad Sufyan, Qari Abdul Latif, Qari Muhammad Abdullah, Qari Muhammad Bashir, Qari Muhammad Huzaifa, Qari Nauman Hafeez, and Qari Zia-ur-Rehman were given appreciation certificates on the occasion.
Special shields were given to Allama Ghulam Murtaza Alvi for initiating the translation class and all such parents including Irshad Hussain and Asif Sulehria Advocate whose two or more children had the honour to complete the learning of the Holy Quran by heart.
The participants clapped to appreciate the parents for their patronage and support to their children in the journey of the Quran learning.
