Leaders of six religions to take part in Peace for Humanity Conference
Leading figures of six great religions of the world will take part in a peace prayer in ‘Peace for Humanity Conference’ being organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran International in historic Wembley Arena on September 24. Renowned scholars from across the world will take part in the biggest gathering of London’s history and deliver a universal message of peace and harmony to the people of the world. According to an estimate, 15 thousand people are likely to make it to the Conference.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will deliver his keynote speech on the subject of “Muhammad (PBUH): The Merciful.” The proceedings of the Conference will be broadcast live around the world on www.minhaj.tv. The Wembley Conference of MQI is meant to build bridges among followers of different faiths and forge a united front against the forces of terrorism and extremism. The Conference would go a long way in designing an intellectual response besides highlighting the need for practical efforts at individual and collective levels. London has become a centre of attention in this regard. According to experts, establishment of peace is a shared human goal and it obliges everyone to play his/her role for the wellbeing of humanity.
