MQI Leaders visit Governor Punjab to condole Begum Bhutto's sad demise
To condole the sad demise of Begum Nusrat Bhutto, a delegation of Tehreek-e-Minhaj-ul-Quran (TMQ) and Pakistan AwamiTehreek (PAT) led by Dr. Raheeq Ahmed Abbasi, Secretary General TMQ, called on Governor Punjab Sardar Muhammad Latif khosa, and expressed their sorrow and grief over Begum Bhutto's sad departure from life that is an irreparable loss of PPP workers and Party leadership. The delegation offered Fateha and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace. Dr. Raheeq Ahmed Abbasi, also conveyed the grief of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri on Begum Nusrat Bhutto’s sorrowful departure.
The delegation headed by Dr. Raheeq Ahmed Abbasi Secretary General TMQ, included Brig(R). Iqbal Ahmad Khan (Nabib Ameer e Tehreek), Muhammad Mustafa(G.M.Malik)Deputy Secretary General ), Syed Farhat Hussain Shah. The delegation also apprised the Governor Punjab Mr.Muhammad Latif Khosa of Shaykh-ul-Islam’s unparalleled struggle for peace, harmony and interfaith dialogue around the globe and MQI’s achievements in the fields of education, welfare, human rights and awakening of awareness among the masses under the inspiring leadership of Shaykh-ul-Islam.
On this occasion Dr. Raheeq Ahmed Abbasi presented him introductory literature of TMQ and recordings of Wembley Peace Conference held on 24 September 2011.
