Quaid Day celebrated at Minhaj College for Women
A prestigious ceremony of the Quaid Day was organized jointly by Bazm-e-Minhaj, Literary Society and Minhaj College for Women. The ceremony commenced with recitation of the verses from the holy Quran followed by Naat. The ceremony was presided by In-charge of Bazm-e-Minhaj, Ms. Umme Habiba.
The proceedings of the ceremony went underway with cake cuttings. Every class presented cake on decorated tables and in the roar of anthems, the students, teachers and the vice Principal cut the birthday cake. Following the cake-cutting, the students of Minhaj College for Women went to Minhaj University Lahore to take part in the main birthday ceremony. Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of PAT’s Federal Council, was the guest of honour at the main ceremony.
The students of Minhaj College for Girls took active part in various activities of the central birthday ceremony. Ms. Gosiyyah Dastageer of BS V delivered a speech on the topic of “Islamic Penal System and Philosophy by Dr. Tahir ul Qadri” and Qurat-ul-Ain Zahoor highlighted the services and contributions of Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Moreover a Threeki anthem was also presented on part of Minhaj College for Women. The Ceremony concluded on Dua for long life and good health of MQI chief.
