Interior Minister exposes real face of his government: Maj (r) Saeed

Major (r) Muhammad Saeed Rajput, Chief Organizer PAT, has said that the Interior Minister showed the nation the real face of his government. He said that the Minister exposed the politics of deal-making with the opposition and shameful lie employed by the Punjab government with regard to shutting down schools. He said that the nation wants to know as to what price did the supporters of the government got at the time of sit-in. He said that the terrorists were emboldened by closing schools across the country. He said that semblance of peace visible in the country is the result of the Operation Zarb-e-Azb and sacrifices of the armed forces. He said that to expect such a government to implement NAP in letter and spirit as cannot get even a single honest and competent police officer as IG is akin to keep oneself in delusion.

Major (r) Muhammad Saeed expressed these views while talking to a PAT delegation from Islamabad that called on him in the central secretariat yesterday. He said that the politics of deal-making and musical chairs in power led to the worst dictatorship in the name of democracy. He said all the facts narrated by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri during the sit-in are being authenticated inside and outside the Parliament today. He said that the people and the government of KPK deserve our appreciation for keeping the educational institutions open. He said that the decision of the Punjab government to shut down the schools and other educational institutions under the garb of cold is a serious joke with the nation. He said that discussion has started regarding imposition of emergency under Article 245 of the Constitution due to incompetence and non-seriousness of the government.

The PAT Chief Organizer said that the national resources should be spent on scaling up the walls of the schools and provision of security instead of squandering them off on metro buses and orange trains. He said that the politicians who put their signatures on the NAP are busy in friendly fires today in an effort to sabotage it and thus are befooling the nation.
