PAT files a petition in LHC against Panama leaks

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court against PM Nawaz Sharif, Hussain Nawaz, Chairman NAB and Maryam Nawaz on the issue of the Panama leaks. The petition has been filed by PAT Lawyers Wing leader Ishtiaq Chaudhry Advocate. It has been maintained in the petition that the accused have brought bad name to the country and defrauded people by committing corruption, and money laundering. The court has been prayed to take notice of this and mete out punishment to the accused for concealing their assets and committing corruption under Section 9 of the NAB Ordinance.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur and Major (r) Muhammad Saeed said that we have adopted the legal route to check corruption and get the criminals punished. He said that the nation has now decided that corrupt elements will not be pardoned at any cost. He said that we retain the right of taking to streets for return of the national wealth.
