A book named "Kulyat-e-Naat" launched

The grand book launch of "Kulyat e Naat," a magnificent collection of Naats by the renowned Naat poet, Raja Rashid Mehmood (deceased) happened here the other day. The event was organized by the Hassan Bin Thabit Center for Research in Naat Literature at Minhaj University Lahore. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome from Prof. Dr. Sajid Mehmood Shehzad, the Vice Chancellor of Minhaj University Lahore.

Dr. Sarwar Hussain Naqshbandi, the Director of the Hasan Bin Thabit Center for Research in Naat Literature, delivered the welcome speech. Dr. Tahir Raza Bukhari, the Secretary of Auqaf and Religious Affairs attended the ceremony as a special guest. The event highlighted the significance of Raja Rashid Mehmood's profound devotion to Rasool ﷺ and his lifelong dedication to the research and promotion of Naat.

Dr. Sultan Shah, the Director of the Shazli Sufism Center at Government College University Lahore, shared his thoughts on Raja Rashid's multifaceted talents.

Raja Azhar Mahmood, the son of late Raja Rashid, graced the ceremony with his presence and expressed his views. He proudly announced that 260 books containing his father's hymns, naats, and chants had been published. The Registrar of Minhaj University Dr. Khurram Shahzad, along with teachers and students were also present on the occasion.
