Annual Mehfil e Qiraat-o-Naat under Bazm-e-Qadria

Annual Mehfil Qiraat-o-Naat was held on the occasion of the death anniversary of Qudwa-tul-Aulia Sayyidna Tahir Allauddin al-Qadri al-Gillani (R.A), the spiritual patron of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. The programme was held in the Central Secretariat under the banner of Bazm-e-Qadria (Minhaj University) on November 10, 2009, which was presided over by Sahibzada Miskin Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, central Amir of Minhaj-ul-Quran International.

Other central leaders who attended the programme included Dr Raheeq Ahmad Abbasi, Secretary General of MQI, Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, senior vice Secretary General, Rana Muhammad Jamil, Rana Javed Qadri, Tanveer Hussain Qadri, Mr. Hijazi, Dr Asghar Javed Qadri, Dr Zahoorullah Qadri, Haji Gohar Rahman, Muhammad Jawad Hamid, Sufi Maqsood Ahmad Qadri, Sajid Nadeem Gondal, Bilal Mustafavi, Hafeez Ullah Javed, Najm-us-Saqib, Hasnain Javed. A large number of workers, students and general people also attended the programme.

The proceedings of the ceremony got underway with recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Allah Bakhsh Naqshbandi and Qari Tanzeel-ur-Rahman. Muhammad Ali Sajjan, Irshad Azam, Akhtar Hussain Quraishi, Shahzad Brothers, Zaheer Ahmad Bilali, Shahzad Ashiq Brothers and others took part in the Naat Khawani, which followed the recitation of the Holy Quran. The audience was out of themselves during the course of Naat Khawani. Tears were all over as the programme progressed with people getting spiritually ecstatic.

At the end, Shahzad Rasool Qadri, chief organizer of Bazm-e-Qadria, thanked all guests for their participation in the programme. He said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri often mentions that the mission of MQI is in fact the mission of Huzoor Qudwa-tul-Aulia which he continued to patronize all his life and is doing so spiritually even today. He said that the practical manifestation of blessings of Huzoor Qudwa-tul-Aulia is Minhaj-ul-Quran International.

The programme ended on special Dua led by Sahibzada Miskin Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani. The participants prayed for good health and long life of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and Sahibzadgans of Huzoor Qudwa-tul-Aulia.
