USA: MQI holds Mehfil-e-Naat

Mefil-e-Naat was organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran International in Taiba Islamic Center, New York on 26 January, 2014.The gathering was started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Imam of Taiba Islamic Center, Qari Muhammad Younis. This gathering was hosted by Qari Muhammad Younus and Allama M Sharif Kamalvi, Director of Minhaj ul Quran Center NJ.

After the recitation, beautiful naats were recited by Manzoor Ilahi, M Farooq Qadri, M Asghar Chishti, Sajjad Ahmad Butt, Azam Chishti and M Sohail Qadri.The special guests of this gathering were President Minhaj-ul-Quran New York Khawaja Syed Omair Hassan and President Minhaj ul Quran New Jersey Muhammad Amjad. Graduates of Minhaj University Lahore, Allama M Ikram Siddique, Irfan Ashraf, Tariq Mehmood Malik, Hafiz Abdul Qadeer, Mohsin Zaheer and various others from the management of Taiba Islamic Center also participated in the gathering.The host of this gathering, Qari M Younus, announced that today amongst us, Allama M Sharif Kamalvi is present who is a graduate of Minhaj University Lahore and also a student of Dr. Tahir ul Qadri. He was invited to the stage to continue the program.

Allama M Sharif Kamalvi presented a Hamd in his beautiful style. After praising ALLAH (S.W.T), he explained the connection between Hamd and a Naat. He said that the meaning and explanation of Quran is actually named Naat. He said every piece of poetry is different. At the end of the gathering, M Asghar Chaudhry presented Durood-o-Salam and all the participants joined him. Afterwards, Qari M Younus prayed for peace and prosperity in Pakistan and the Muslim world. Refreshments were available for the participants. Media personals were also present in the gathering.
