UK: MWL Birmingham celebrates Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW)

On the 20th of January 2015, Sister Rabia Khanum (MWL Membership Secretary Birmingham) organised magnificent Mawlid-un-Nabi (SAW) programme at her home. The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Sister Rukhsana Parveen (MWL President Alum Rock). Sister Sadia commenced the programme with recitation of the Holy Quran with the translation. This blessed Mehfil had a very active participation and many ladies took part in Naats and Nasheeds. Sister Shazia Parveen (MWL Birmingham Dawah Secretary) distributed lots of free CDs of Shaykh ul Islam’s lectures and also set up a book and CD stall. Sister Rukhsana Iqbal (Halqa Durood co-ordinator of Midlands) handed out some information regarding how to set up Halqa Durood Mehfils. Sister Rabia Khanum had arranged for a Ziarat (Mu-e-Mubarak) for everyone and had over whelming turn out. Sister Rabia Khanum led a heart warming Dua and offered Salaam. Food was served to all.
